Tall Blue and Orange Indented Vessel - 9' X 8" X 21"

This unique vessel is made from a iron red earthenware clay. The stoneware vessel was thrown on the potters wheel, altered, bisque fired, then sprayed with a blue stain that lets the texture of the clay show through. An orange glaze was applied on the interior and down the strip on the exterior. It is oxidation fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. This piece could be used as a large vase or placed in your home simply as an object of art.
